My Story
I tell a persuasive story. Whether through my journalism or my role in creating social organizations I use storytelling techniques to make information relevant to my audience.
My roots are in journalism and the craft of storytelling for a broad audience. As a business reporter and provincial affairs columnist I broke national stories about ICT innovations, energy developments, Aboriginal rights and the ambitions of the Maritimes’ political class.
In 2003 I began exploring how storytelling techniques can provoke institutional and community change by engaging audiences and building social networks that strengthen trust and deepen relationships.
Since then I have led the creation of three social organizations. Please click on the links for for details on each project.
